Red Tail Foundation

commitment to community support

We firmly believe in supporting and assisting those in need within our communities and beyond. To fulfill this commitment, the Redtail Community Foundation was established.

The Crimson Group of Companies contributes funds to the Redtail Community Foundation, which then donates these funds to registered charities in Canada and tax-exempt nonprofits in the U.S. All recipient charities must issue official receipts for charitable tax deduction purposes.

The Foundation is guided by a Board of Directors made up of employees and spouses from diverse business units, locations, and roles. This inclusive structure ensures that employees have a direct voice in determining which charities receive support.

The Board is dedicated to ensuring that funds are allocated to organizations that resonate with employees and reflect their personal commitments, leading to the establishment of specific guidelines for donations. Together, we strive to make a meaningful impact in our communities through charitable giving and volunteerism.

Employee and Spousal Donations

The Foundation matches individual monetary donations made by employees and their spouses to qualifying charities. To qualify for the match, donors must submit an official charitable tax receipt from the organization.

Team Donations

For group donations made during company team-building activities, the Foundation will also provide matching contributions. All team activities must receive prior approval and include the submission of the charitable tax receipt.

Volunteer Donations

The Foundation supports volunteer efforts by donating based on the hours contributed by groups of employees, including family and friends. To qualify, the volunteer group must provide a letter from the charity detailing the event and the hours volunteered. Prior approval from the Board is required for all volunteer activities.

THE CRIMSON GROUP IS PROUD TO SUPPORT THE COMMITMENT TO THEIR COMMUNITIES THAT IS DEMONSTRATED BY ITS EMPLOYEES’ GOOD WILL AND GENEROSITY OF MONEY, TIME AND SPIRIT.
