Our team had the incredible privilege of participating in the Big Brother Big Sisters clay shoot event, and let’s just say—our aim might not be perfect, but our enthusiasm definitely is!
We split into men’s and women’s teams and not only learned the art of shooting clays (some of us more successfully than others), but also had a fantastic time bonding and sharing laughs.
Our favorite moment? Watching our team’s best shots turn into epic “near-misses”. We might not be aiming for Olympic gold, but we’re definitely gold medalists in having fun! And remember, while we were aiming for clays, our goal was really to support an amazing cause that’s close to our hearts.
This clay shoot was in support for Tarrant County Big Brother Big Sisters program. For over 100 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters has been championing the health and wellbeing of youth. They step in before it’s too late, to help prevent the physical and mental effects of adverse childhood experiences. They ensure children as young as 7 are supported by caring adults as they overcome these adversities, helping them to do better in life – physically, mentally, socially, emotionally, and academically. Their Intervention helps ensure children as young as 7 are supported by caring adults as they overcome these adversities, helping them to do better in life.
We encourage you all to find ways to get involved in your local communities and support wonderful causes like this one.
